Whether it's an office party, reception, or just a gathering of friends, Cru is the perfect place to share a great wine and exceptional cuisine. Wine Tasting Receptions

Our Wine Tasting Receptions are arranged mostly standing and mingling with option to sit. You pick the hors'd oeuvre and we will match the wine to complement. Wine is purchased by the bottle usually averaging $45/btl for Global Theme and $65/btl for Napa Valley/Sonoma Theme. Guests will be greeted and given a Spieglau Crystal glass, then proceed to bar where 6-8 different wine varietals will be displayed with tasting notes. A Wine Steward will be pouring the wines and interacting with guests answering questions. Servers will pass hors'd oeuvre explaining the best wine pairing.

Wine Flight Tasting With Small Plate Pairing

Our Wine Flight Tasting With Small Plate Pairing is a sit-down event with guests served 2 flights of wine and 2 plates of food that our chef puts together to complement the flight. (A flight is 3 smaller glasses with 2 oz. of wine that is similiar by grape varietal, region or type). We usually do a white wine flight with one plate then a red wine flight with another plate. This is similiar to a tasting dinner. $40-$60/person depending on food and wine selections. Guests only pay for additional wine by consumption. A custom menu with tasting notes will be given to each guest. Our Wine Director will do a brief presentation of the wine on request.

Private Wine Luncheons And Dinners

Cru is available for your private wine luncheon or dinner. The entire restaurant may be booked exclusively for your engagement.

Our warm and inviting private dining room is adjacent to the main dining room and is outfitted in the same style as the adjoining restaurant with handsome wine bins and candlelight. This room can accommodate between 8 and 15 people and is the perfect setting for every occasion from bridal showers to business dinners. Here are some of the amenities that our private dining rooms offer (amenities vary by location):

  • Adjustable overhead lighting
  • Volume of music can be adjusted to meet your needs
  • Projection screen available at no additional charge (not available in all locations)
  • Privacy curtain (not available in all locations)
  • Customized menus
  • Floral displays and audio-video equipment available
  • A professional event coordinator that is committed to making your event a success
